Say hello to Amber, our new MJF summer fellow

NJC is thrilled to welcome the newest member of our team, Amber Magnussen. Amber will be assisting our office during the summer as a Minnesota Justice Foundation (MJF) fellow.

Amber received a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology from St. Olaf College in 2017 and she is currently enrolled at Mitchell Hamline School of Law where she will earn her JD in the spring of 2025. Amber is a volunteer at Mitchell Hamline's self-help clinic and is also a member of Out!Law, Mitchell Hamline's LGBTQIA+ student organization. Prior to law school, Amber worked as a family law paralegal in the Twin Cities area for a little over five years. Amber is passionate about helping people on the micro level to assist with substantial and meaningful change on the macro level.

Outside of work and school, Amber enjoys spending time outside with her dog, trying new restaurants with her partner, and traveling with friends and family.

Welcome to Amber!
